For sale is a Epiphone John Lennon ES230TD Casino Revolution 905/1965 with original case, COA, and case candy. I've never seen any of these original 48 with the lithographs for sale. John was taken by his new guitar and made it his main axe from that point on, using several different versions over the ensuing. In 1966, during the recording of Revolver, John Lennon and George Harrison acquired sunburst Casinos. ![]() It's a really nice piece - see below with my guitar: The Epiphone Revolution Casino Electric Guitar without doubt showcases Epiphone at their highest level of quality. These 48 came with a limited edition metal lithograph of John made by Peter Kellett. This 'Inspired by' John Lennon Casino is a replica of the original Casino that Lennon made famous and used throughout his career. The first 48 were held back from the original launch and then released by Fullers Vintage Guitars - two of each number, a sunburst and a natural. Epiphone's original semi-acoustic, the Casino was the preferred guitar of the Beatles, kicking the instrument into the spotlight and ensuring its immortality. ![]() They were limited to 1,965 and came in two finishes - one in sunburst, as Lennon originally got it and one stripped to natural to mimic how he tweaked his. It's an Epiphone John Lennon 'Revolution' Casino. Epiphone also made the cheaper 'Inspired By' ones more recently - but this is one of the preceding ones from around 15 years ago.
